Paranoid House Republican Descends Into Madness And Claims Donald Trump Is A Democratic Plant

The paranoid party is turning on Donald Trump. Republican Congressman Carlos Curbelo (R-FL) is claiming that Donald Trump is a Democratic plant that was sent to hurt the Republican Party.

The Miami Herald reported:

In another interview with Colombia’s W Radio, Curbelo, who supports Jeb Bush for president, piled on.

“There are too many important national, local international topics to waste time talking about a person who, I repeat, in my judgment is irrelevant — and who quite possibly is a phantom candidate recruited by the left to create this entire political circus,” he said.

And he further explained to Miami radio host Roberto Rodríguez Tejera.

“I think there’s a small possibility that this gentleman is a phantom candidate,” Curbelo said. “Mr. Trump has a close friendship with Bill and Hillary Clinton. They were at his last wedding. He has contributed to the Clintons’ foundation. He has contributed to Mrs. Clinton’s Senate campaigns. All of this is very suspicious.”

If every Republican who socially associated with the Clintons is a Democratic plant, the Republican Party is in huge trouble. In theory, this would mean that Jeb Bush is a Democratic plant because his father and brother are friends will Bill Clinton. Fox News founder Rupert Murdoch is also a Democratic plant because he held a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. The Republicans who were in the Senate with her, remember Hillary Clinton fondly. Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) considers her a friend.

Rep. Curbelo’s comments illustrate how far to the right House Republicans are, and how the party has absolutely no idea what to do about Donald Trump.

Republicans are trying to discredit Trump because it appears that he is going to be nearly impossible to get out of the race. Donald Trump isn’t going to leave the Republican primary easily, quickly, or voluntarily. The billionaire, at least on paper, is motivated by ego and ego alone.

Trump isn’t running to help the Republican Party, or to be good party soldier. Donald Trump is in this race for himself, so he is going to do and say whatever he wants, and if it takes the Republican Party down, so be it.

House Republicans are being confronted with what their party really stands for, and it is beginning to push them to the brink of insanity.

  1. The GOP descended into madness November 2008 when a !/)(#? won the election, not because of Trump.

    Ok the other hand, hahahahahahahaha

  2. Donald Trump calling for President Obama’s birth certificate cemented that R behind his name.

The Republican/Tea Party embraced and cheered Birther Trump on.

    You got him. Keep him!

  3. The only thing incorrect in this article is that the entire GOP has been bouncing around on pogo sticks while on fire crazy for decades.

Eisenhower is dead. Margaret Chase Smith is dead. Dirksen is dead. Wm. F. Buckley is dead. Howard Baker is dead.
( They weren’t perfect, but you get the point. )
Even Goldwater was only half nuts, but he’s dead, too.

  4. I actually mentioned that theory somewhat tongue in cheek in another article on this site. The laughable part of all this is that what Trump is saying loudly is what the majority of their base believes and what is being preached to them by the likes of Fox “News” and Rush Limbaugh, etc. on a daily basis. Now that someone is saying it so loudly, suddenly they’re concerned? The only reason they’re concerned is that it will turn off any rational thinking moderates in their party and Independents.

  5. They’re so desparate for anything to reverse
    Democratic momentum that they continue
CPR on that dead Benghazi horse. Pitiful as
    well as disgusting.

  6. Another little tidbit: This proves that the John Birch Society has taken over the GOP. You realize that the Koch bros. father was one of the founders of that lunatic reactionary mental institution ?
They thought Eisenhower was a communist !

Thom Hartmann has speculated that Trump is a stalking horse to get rid of JEB! and the other candidates to clear the way for the Koch’s pet: Scott Walker; and that they’re ( fellow billionaires, the Koch’s ) are the ones that put him up to this.
What would be funny is if they underestimated Trump’s massive egotism, and this taste of power and avarice is not temporary.

  7. “and it is beginning to push them to the brink of insanity.”

They’ve been well past that point for many years now.

  8. The way Trump has been bad mouthing THEIR top contenders, it’s no wonder they think he is doing the Democrats’ dirty work from the inside. Ha! He calls them all incompetent idiots. Ouch! He is bullying them into silence. He’s taken the party hostage, and they are into the Stockholm Syndrome mode. Check out the love fest coming from Ted Cruz, (loving his captor). And now, they think that he’s working for the Democrats. Wow! This is getting weird.

  9. sTRUMPet is indeed a penultimate Republican, if by way of example all of the Republican/Conservative drive by commenters here on this site be an example.

  10. The GOP are just upset that Trump is bringing forth what they truly represent and believe. How else can you explain his surge in the polls. Even Lindsay Graham admitted Trump is stating what they believe.

That is why Trump has surpassed Jeb Bush in the polls. Trump is stating what GOP voters believe, and it’s working

  11. Agree Moongrim. First they accuse the Dem’s of being so unlearned, we are not running the country right. They have done every thing with in their power to destroy Obama ALONG WITH any other Dem, Now we are so clever we managed to convert the Donald??Better watch out Teabaggers, we just might win this time.

  12. Trump doesn’t give a rat’s ass about the GOP – what I hope he does is to stay in long enough to completely FUBAR the whole Republican primary field, then to drop out and run as an independent. Not that it makes any difference to the end product, there isn’t a Republican who can win this election, their brand is too damaged at the POTUS level.

  13. Conservatism as a Mental Illness
Republican polls have recently exhibited 10 telltale signs of mental illness:
Denial, Delusion, Hallucination, Disordered Thinking, Anger, Anti-social Behavior, Sexual Preoccupation, Grandiosity, General Oddness, ***Paranoia***

  14. That’s also my prediction, Donald will go rogue independant and syphon many GOP votes away from the GOP nominee.
Donald is that arrogant to do this.

However the liberals can’t be complacent and everyone must vote and vote beautiful BLUE!

  15. This senator has to have something or someone to blame for their party’s stupidity. That plant that he is referring to probably was something they had planned for the disruption in the Democratic party. What goes around comes around. This is great. Donald is destructive.

  16. Obsessive-Compulsive Personality Disorder. True sociopathology. Everything’s fine, as long as long as one does everything THEIR way. ( I had a sister like this ). This is about 10% of the population …and estimates keep going up. They’re hard enough to deal with when they’re ordinary ass-H’s, but when they have power and money, they’re absolute tyrants.

Thing is, when they have power, or think they do, they will be ruthless and do anything to maintain that. When a group of them take over ( and we see that in racist cops, corporations and Wall St., politicians, of course ), then it’s a living hell for everyone else.
This is what happened to Germany w/ the Nazi’s. A death-cult took over. We’re dealing w/ the same chosen sickness today.

Will America learn from that horrible lesson ? Or will we allow these nihilists to destroy democracy ?

I really don’t know if Americans have the guts.

  17. Prove it wingnuts. You just wish he was a Democrat mole. The truth is they all have the same ideology as Trump. All Republicans in Congress, the Rep governors, etc. Some like fuctard “food stamp” drug tester Scott Walker are worse than Hairdo. All the Tea Party Confederate Flag Worshippers. They are all like Trump. He just says what they believe unfiltered

  18. “Paranoid House Republican Descends into Madness”…This statement is untrue!…How can one “descend” into a place where they already have dwelt for some time now? Madness is required for membership in the Republican party.

  19. Moongrim:
    This is an aside, ok?
Question: How do you get to place a photo into the Avitar (Mine is Blank, you have that picture of a cat).

I want to put a picture of a flying P-51 MUSTANG in there. What do I do?

    RSVP.
    Thank you.

  20. Discus.

I signed up for a commenting account with discus (sp?), and one of the things they wanted was a photo. Just not something racy.

Interestingly enough- the reason I signed up for that account to was to tool an ammosexual. And I did. Easy enough to do.
