Bombshell Dropped On Republicans As Illegal Benghazi Investigation Detailed On CNN

Conservative Republican Major Bradley Podliska described to CNN’s Jake Tapper how the Benghazi investigation shifted away from Benghazi and to Hillary. What Major Podliska described to Tapper is illegal.

JAKE TAPPER, CNN ANCHOR, STATE OF THE UNION: What do you say to any viewers out there who think you might have an ax to grind, but you’re only talking because you were fired?

BRADLEY PODLISKA, FORMER STAFFER, BENGHAZI COMMITTEE: As I said earlier, I have a conscience. There is wrongdoing here and I think it needs to stop. I do not want the investigation tor (sic) refocused back to its original purpose. The victims’ families are owed the truth. Hillary Clinton has a lot of explaining to do.

We, however, did not need to shift resources to hyper-focus on Hillary Clinton. We didn’t need to deemphasize and in some cases drop the investigation on different agencies and different organizations and different individuals.

Podliska is a conservative Republican, so he is going to believe that seven previous Benghazi investigations are not enough and that like The X-Files, the truth is really out there. The shift in the investigation that he is describing is what is critical.

No only has Podliska confirmed Kevin McCarthy’s statement that the purpose of the Select Committee is to bring down Hillary Clinton, but what House Republicans are doing with this committee is illegal.

The Select Committee is not authorized to investigate Hillary Clinton’s emails. Every dollar that Republicans are spending investigating Clinton’s emails is an illegal use of taxpayer funds for partisan political purposes. It is not enough to call for the committee to be shut down.

Those who carried the illegal activity must be punished. The only way to stop House Republicans from abusing their power is to punish those who refuse to follow the law.

The House is falling in on itself. They can’t find anyone to replace John Boehner as Speaker. There is a looming deadline for raising the debt limit in a few weeks, and their Benghazi Select Committee that was supposed to bring down the Democratic frontrunner has backfired.

All Democrats can do is sit back and watch as the Republican Party is destroying itself.
