Never Gonna Get It: Bernie Sanders Vows That His Supporters Will Not Vote For Trump

Bernie Sanders crushed Donald Trump’s dreams of winning over his supporters by proclaiming that his supporters will never vote for Trump during a press conference at the National Press Club.

During a press conference at the National Press Club, Sen. Sanders said, “Trump is trying in a number of ways I think to tap into some of my support. If I lose the nomination, he will not get that support. If I lose the nomination, and we’re here to do everything we can to win it, I will do everything I can to make sure that Donald Trump is not elected President Of The United States.”

Trump has been trying to move Bernie Sanders supporters to him by mentioning how Sanders has been robbed by the “rigged” Democratic primary. Trump has also urged Sanders to run as an Independent. It is obvious what Trump is trying to do, and Sen. Sanders made it crystal clear that Trump’s attempts to poach his supporters aren’t going to work.

In other words, Bernie Sanders will fight to the death to make sure that his supporters never vote for Donald Trump. Sanders understands that Trump is everything that he and his supporters are waging a political revolution against. Donald Trump’s childlike thought process is that Bernie’s supporters voted against Hillary Clinton so that they will vote for him instead of her in November.

One gets the sense that Bernie Sanders will give everything he’s got and more to defeat Donald Trump.

The point of the press conference was for Sen. Sanders to make his pitch to superdelegates and to reassure his supporters that he is still in the race, and he views a path to victory. However, it was his comments about Trump’s attempts to steal his supporters that may have the longest lasting impact on the 2016 election.
