In a nonsensical rant, Donald Trump is claiming that Sen. Bernie Sanders is now a member of the oligarchy, which is why Sanders supporters should vote for Trump.
After Bernie Sanders had endorsed Hillary Clinton, Trump tweeted:
To all the Bernie voters who want to stop bad trade deals & global special interests, we welcome you with open arms. People first.

Bernie sanders has abandoned his supporters by endorsing pro-war pro-TPP pro-Wall Street Crooked Hillary Clinton.

Bernie Sanders endorsing Crooked Hillary Clinton is like Occupy Wall Street endorsing Goldman Sachs.

Donald Trump, obviously, didn’t watch Hillary Clinton’s speech. If he did, he would know that Clinton specifically spoke out against TPP, but in our current world where Trump lies about everything all of the time, this is a relatively minor point.
In larger terms, Trump is so delusional that he believes that Bernie Sanders supporters are going to vote for him. This belief appears to be based on something that Trump saw on television. Fox News told Donald Trump that Sanders supporters are angry. Trump knows that all of his supporters are angry, therefore, in his own mind, all of the angry people will come together and ragefully vote for Donald Trump.
What is being left out of Trump’s little thought bubble is that the Sanders supporters are angry at rich guys who exploit the system like Donald Trump. Bernie Sanders supporters are never going to vote for Trump.
The idea that Trump would imply that Sen. Sanders is an oligarch would be laughable if it weren’t so insulting.
There is only one oligarch running in the 2016 presidential election, and his name is Donald J. Trump.
