Roger Ailes is reportedly a goner at Fox.
In New York Magazine, Gabriel Sherman dropped the bombshell, “Murdochs Have Decided to Remove Roger Ailes — the Only Question Now Is When”.
“Rupert Murdoch and sons Lachlan and James — co-chairmen and CEO, respectively, of parent company 21st Century Fox — have settled on removing the 76-year-old executive, say two sources briefed on a sexual-harassment investigation of Ailes being conducted by New York law firm Paul, Weiss,” reports Sherman, based on the information of two sources who were briefed on the investigation.
Sparked by allegations of sexual harassment, Fox News’ parent company 21st Century Fox began an investigation into the management style of Roger Ailes. They moved interviews off site, out of fear that the Fox offices were bugged. The investigation “has expanded into a wide-ranging inquiry.”

Ailes will be given a chance to resign or be fired, according the report. The only issue up for debate is when.
The Gretchen Carlson lawsuit was bad for Fox, but the dozens of women who have come forward to tell similar stories about the sexual harassment that they faced from the Fox News boss was the push that sent Ailes off the cliff.
Roger Ailes is the beating black heart of Fox News. Ailes vowed to stay at Fox until he got another Republican president elected. Instead, the Bill Cosby of cable news will probably spend the rest of his days in court paying for his abuse of power and vile conduct towards women.
I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that Roger Ailes has announced that after the 2016 election, he’s retiring to “spend more time with family.”
