Here Is The Proof That Even Trump Knows That He Is Losing To Hillary Clinton

Deep down inside, Donald Trump knows that he is losing, which is why his son offered to put Kasich in charge of both domestic and foreign policy if he agreed to be Trump’s VP.
The New York Times reported on the offer that Donald Trump Jr. made to Gov. John Kasich:

One day this past May, Donald Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., reached out to a senior adviser to Gov. John Kasich of Ohio, who left the presidential race just a few weeks before. As a candidate, Kasich declared in March that Trump was “really not prepared to be president of the United States,” and the following month he took the highly unusual step of coordinating with his rival Senator Ted Cruz in an effort to deny Trump the nomination. But according to the Kasich adviser (who spoke only under the condition that he not be named), Donald Jr. wanted to make him an offer nonetheless: Did he have any interest in being the most powerful vice president in history?

When Kasich’s adviser asked how this would be the case, Donald Jr. explained that his father’s vice president would be in charge of domestic and foreign policy.

Then what, the adviser asked, would Trump be in charge of?

“Making America great again” was the casual reply.

The Trump campaign wouldn’t comment on the story, but it is very consistent with what America has seen out of Donald Trump on the campaign trail.

Trump has less than zero interest in governing. Donald Trump thinks policies are stupid and for losers. Trump would rather get all of the attention and fame that comes with the presidency, but he doesn’t want to do any of the actual work involved in running the country.

The offer to Kasich was a sucker’s deal. If Kasich accepted, he would do all of the work, and Trump would get all of the credit. Kasich would be doing the job that another man was elected to do.

The big takeaway from the offer to Kasich is that Donald Trump knows that he is probably going to lose the election. Even he understood that he needed Kasich to win in Ohio, and give him a chance in the other Rust Belt states.

A candidate who is winning does not offer to give his VP everything unless he knows that without that person on the ticket, he will lose.

Behind all of their bragging and bluster, the Trump campaign knows that they aren’t winning. The proof can be found in their offer of the moon and stars to John Kasich if he would be Trump’s VP.
