Eva Longoria Hammers Donald Trump’s Anti-Immigrant Hate While Rocking DNC

Eva Longoria took the stage on the first night of the DNC convention in Philly and she hammered Donald Trump’s anti-immigrant hate, while rocking the convention as part of the star-studded guest list of speakers.

“I’m so honored to be here and I’m proud to say, I’m with her!” Eva started off, the crowd started cheering.

“I’m a ninth generation American from a small town in South Texas. And if you know your history, Texas used to be part of Mexico,” Ms. Longoria said. “My family never crossed a border. The border crossed us.â€

“When Donald Trump calls us criminals and rapists, he is insulting American families,” the actress, activist, producer, director and businesswoman said. “My father isn’t a criminal or a rapist. In fact, he’s a United States veteran.â€

“When he mocked a disabled reporter, he insulted my special needs sister,” Ms. Longoria said about Donald Trump.

“Hillary’s been fighting for us for decades. Now it’s time to fight for her!â€

“Guess what Donald? It turns out America is pretty great already,” she said bringing the crowd into a frenzy.

Eva Longoria is one of the stars lining up to speak at the DNC, including Sarah Silverman, Lena Dunham, Chloe Grace Moretz, and Debra Messing. And instead of cheesy covers, Demi Lovato brought the house down and Paul Simon of Simon & Garfunkel sang “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” as the crowd locked hands and swayed in a show of unity before Longoria spoke.
