At the 2012 Democratic National Convention, former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm stirred the crowd into a frenzy with her speech in Charlotte. Four years later in Philadelphia, Granholm didn’t disappoint.
In this year’s speech, she obliterated last week’s Republican National Convention and hit Donald Trump for his obsession with himself.

Granholm ridiculed Trump for saying only he could fix what ails America by rewriting lines from American history, through the eyes of the Republican nominee:
Imagine Donald Trump’s version of the Constitution: “I the person, in order to form a more perfect union.” Or, centuries later, “I shall overcome.” Or, “Ask not what I can do for my country, ask what my country can do for me.”
The former Michigan governor also criticized the Republican Party’s failure to offer the American people any actual plans during their convention.

Granholm said,
Hillary Clinton gets it, and that’s why she has huge plans to create good paying jobs in America. Imagine that, actual plans. I must have missed that night at the Republican Convention. Detailed plans, people. Written down. Plans with numbers that add up. You want to see them? You can actually see them!”
