Donald Trump is enlisting the help of sexual predator and former Fox News boss Roger Ailes to advise him and help with preparing to debate the first woman major US political party nominee.
The New York Times reported:

Mr. Ailes is aiding Mr. Trump’s team as it turns its attention to the first debate with Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee, on Sept. 26 on Long Island, according to three people briefed on the move, who insisted on anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter.

Two of them said that Mr. Ailes’s role could extend beyond the debates, which Mr. Trump’s advisers see as crucial to vaulting him back into strong contention for the presidency after a series of self-inflicted wounds that have eroded his standing in public opinion polls.

Donald Trump, who is already getting crushed with female voters, has found the one way to make his situation worse. Trump has turned to his good pal Roger Ailes for advice on debating Hillary Clinton. Trump has been running an Ailes/Nixonian style campaign for months, with rumors swirling that Fox News was already advising Trump, so it isn’t exactly a surprise that Ailes has officially signed on to be the Nixon wannabe’s debate coach.

One of the reasons why Trump is failing so miserably as the Republican nominee is because the year is not 1968. America is not falling apart. There is no white coalition of “silent majority” voters that will be marching to the polls to win this election for Trump. What Trump’s campaign has awakened is a diversity majority that is unified in their goal of defeating his candidacy.

Roger Ailes is at the center of the media’s version of the Bill Cosby scandal. Ailes is the last person on earth that any candidate who was already losing badly with women voters would add to his campaign.

However, Donald Trump is not based in reality. The Republican nominee is also not living in the 21st Century. Roger Ailes can’t save Trump. His association with the campaign is another bad move move by a campaign that has been defined by its own candidate’s consistently bad judgement.

The one proven fact of this election is that Donald Trump will always make the wrong decision.
