Yes, even delusional misogynist Rush Limbaugh realizes that fellow delusional misogynist Donald Trump has let his obsession with Alicia Machado derail his presidential campaign.
Limbaugh couldn’t say any of this, of course, without his own share of sexist remarks about Machado, a former Miss Universe, calling her a “porn star” (she’s not, though his hero Trump is), and “this Alicia Machado babe.”

I have to tell you, I am being inundated, well inundated may be a bit of an exaggeration, but not by much. I’m getting a lot of emails from a lot of people who are getting full-fledged panicked. I mean it’s time to keep the sharp objects away from some of these people. They are convinced that two things are happening. They are convinced that Trump is blowing this as badly as anybody could blow anything by not forgetting about this porn star. Tweeting out about this woman, this Alicia Machado babe, even at 3:00 this morning, while other issues are much more important, the issues that frame and define Hillary Clinton as unqualified and unfit and as corrupt. And they wish Trump would stop this. Too many other things, it’s getting too close to the election to be side-tracked by all of this. And especially, this Alicia Machado thing is a set up. It was a fix that has been in and has been planned by the Clinton campaign for a long time, just like Sandra Fluke was.
Hillary Clinton set Trump up perfectly Monday night when out of the blue she mentioned Alicia Machado and Trump’s treatment of her. A flustered Trump has spent a week pursuing a personal vendetta against the new American citizen, his paranoia leading him to claim Hillary Clinton got her citizenship just so she could use her in the debate.
Obviously, Limbaugh, being Limbaugh, is willing to go with the crazy explanation, calling it a “set up.” Trump has made himself a laughing stock, not only derailing his campaign but having to rationalize his early morning tweets.
We are a little over a month from Election Day. Rest assured Trump will hijack his own campaign again before the votes are cast.
