The numbers are in and the crowd count at Hillary Clinton’s Philadelphia rally was even higher than originally estimated, reaching 33,000. Several thousand additional people also watched from outside.
This puts Clinton ahead of Trump for biggest rally. Liz Kreutz of ABC pointed out that Donald Trump’s biggest rally was in Mobile, Alabama where he had 28,000.
Clinton now surpasses Trump for largest campaign rally. Trump's biggest was 28k in Mobile, AL. HRC had 33k tonight. (h/t @SeniABC)

The enthusiasm and size of the crowd tonight in Philadelphia didn’t go over well with Donald Trump or his supporters or surrogates, who insisted it was a “concert” and not a rally, because of the star power that came out for Clinton.
While it’s true that rallies aren’t votes and what really matters is ground game, it’s also true that Democrats are fired up and ready to go for Hillary Clinton. And that’s a story that the media hasn’t told this cycle.
