Two of the students, Janayah Chatelier and Landon Fritz, both 10 years old, welcomed him to the class. When POTUS asked what they were studying, Landon said: “Today we are learning about Florida.†Each told Mr. POTUS where they wanted to go to college: for Landon, Boston University; for Janayah, Johns Hopkins University.

“Want to be a doctor, is that why Johns Hopkins?” POTUS asked. He spoke briefly to another student who said she hoped to open her own business. “That’s a good idea. Make a lot of money right? But don’t run for politics after,†POTUS said.

Even if Trump was joking, the President Of The United States should not be sending a message to children that they should aspire to selfishness and never do anything that might require them to sacrifice.

There are scores of reasons why Donald Trump should never be considered a role model for kids, but his me first view of the world something that can be damaging to future generations. It would be fine for Trump to joke about what a burden politics is, running for office was something that Trump chose to do, around adults, but that kind of humor sends the wrong message to kids.

As president, Trump is sending the wrong message to children and is not behaving like a leader to be proud of.
