As the White House continues to implode under the weight of the increasingly explosive Russia cover-up, the majority of the American people now say that Donald Trump is a national security threat.
According to the latest Monmouth University Poll, 52 percent of the country believes Trump’s “attitude toward Russia” makes him a security risk.
Clearly, the president’s decision to share classified intelligence with the Russians during a secret Oval Office meeting didn’t do him any favors, as the number of Americans who said they feel Trump is a national security threat increased by 9 points after the news came out.

A vast majority of the poll’s respondents also said that the president’s loose lips are likely to discourage other American allies to share sensitive info with the United States.
As for the firing of James Comey, folks are seeing it for what it was – an attempt by this president to hamstring in an investigation that has the potential to bring down his entire presidency.
Overall, the poll showed – like a handful of other surveys released this week – that Trump’s approval rating is creeping toward a point of no return, with just 39 percent of the country saying he’s doing a good job and 53 percent disapproving of his performance.
Low favorability ratings have been normal for Trump since he first announced his candidacy nearly two years ago, but it’s becoming obvious that there is something much deeper being felt by the country toward this president.
After Trump’s first four months in office, people don’t just disapprove of the job he’s doing or believe his policies are bad for the country. They consider him a clear and present danger to the safety of the United States of America.
If Trump cares about making America great or protecting the safety and security of the American people, the best thing for him to do would be to resign before he does any more damage.
