Republican Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) admitted to a North Carolina news station that it’s unlikely Republicans will reach a deal to repeal and replace Obamacare.
“It’s unlikely that we will get a health-care deal,” Senator Burr told North Carolina station WXII 12 News, according to the Wall Street Journal. Burr said Trumpcare Version 2.0 as passed by the House was “dead on arrival,” and “I don’t see a comprehensive health-care plan this year.”
That seems like a “no” to Trump’s request:

Trump promised at least 68 times to repeal and replace Obamacare.
Trump promised to do so very quickly, “So, just to sum up, I would do various things very quickly. I would repeal and replace the big lie, Obamacare.”
Trump ran as an outsider, saying politicians were all talk, “Well, you need somebody, because politicians are all talk, no action. Nothing’s gonna get done. They will not bring us— believe me— to the promised land. They will not.”
But here Trump is, not getting his major legislative promise done. Dead on arrival.
Unlike the American people, who just might survive the year — thanks in part to Republican ineptitude.
