Acting US Ambassador to the UK Lew Lukens broke with Trump and made a fool out of the President by praising the London mayor that Trump had criticized earlier in the day.
Lukens tweeted:
It is with a heavy heart I offer my condolences and support to the people of the United Kingdom. America grieves with you. – LLukens 1/3

What the Ambassador tweeted was the sort dignified statement of support that should have come from the President Of The United States.
Instead, we got this:
At least 7 dead and 48 wounded in terror attack and Mayor of London says there is "no reason to be alarmed!"

Lukens showed the world that Donald Trump might be president, for now, but American values aren’t dead. Every time a civil servant does the right thing, it serves to remind America that a small minded fool is currently occupying the White House.
