Kellyanne Conway’s husband went off on Trump after the President attacked his own Justice Department and ruined their Muslim ban case with a series of statements on social media.

By “some people” Conway meant Trump. Late last week, Conway withdrew his name from consideration to the Justice Department’s Civil Division chief. At the time, Conway said, “I have reluctantly concluded, however, that, for me and my family, this is not the right time for me to leave the private sector and take on a new role in the federal government.”
The reality might be that Trump is making the jobs of his own appointees impossible by sabotaging their efforts. It doesn’t matter if Trump hires “the best people” if he undercuts them and doesn’t listen to them.
George Conway was right and too generous. Trump did make the job of those arguing the case more difficult, but he also may have made it impossible for them to win.
Not even Kellyanne Conway’s husband can keep up the facade, as the Trump White House is falling apart.
