Read The Secret 8 Page Obamacare Repeal Bill That Mitch McConnell Didn’t Want You To See

Senate Republicans have finally unveiled their 8 page Obamacare, which despite Majority Leader Sen. Mitch McConnell’s best efforts, is finally available for the public to read.

Here is Mitch McConnell introducing the bill on the Senate floor, just before 10 PM ET:

McConnell said, “The Health Care Freedom Act repeals the core pillars of Obamacare. It eliminates the so-called individual mandate that forces many Americans to buy Obamacare insurance that they don’t want, can’t afford, or can’t use, and taxes those who don’t.”

As you can see, Republicans are selling this bill as freedom. What they mean by freedom is that the American people will be free to have no health insurance. Millions of Americans will be free to pay higher premiums for less coverage. Employers will be free not to offer health insurance, and sick people will be free to die from a lack of coverage.

The Health Care Freedom Act is a hasty piece of garbage legislation that looks like it was written over lunch, but don’t take my word for it, read the legislation for yourself, right here.

Mitch McConnell tried to hide this bill for a very good reason. It is a terrible piece of legislation that is a disgrace to the United States Senate.
