Watch As A Reporter Calls Out Trump For Spreading Fake News During White House Briefing

Trump was called out by a reporter for spreading the false story and encouraging war time atrocities during the White House briefing.

Video:

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked, “Does the President know that the story is false, and if so, why does he keep repeating it? And why does the White House think it’s appropriate for the President to perpetuate this false story if he hasn’t been informed that it’s not true?”

Huckabee Sanders answered, “I haven’t had a chance to ask him about that, so I can’t speak to it.”

The follow-up question was, “Then on the broader point, so the President is spreading false information via false information that seems to encourage war time atrocities. No one has thought to inform him that the story’s false?”

The Press Secretary replied, “I didn’t say no one had. I said I hadn’t had that conversation, so I wasn’t going to speak to something that I wasn’t aware of.”

The media is calling out Trump fake news. There is no more turning of a blind eye, as the White House is being asked why Trump is being allowed to spread false information. It is a valid question that should have been asked during the 2016 campaign, where Trump got the idea that he could lie all of the time without penalty because that was exactly what he did.

Trump is spreading fake news on a regular basis while calling legitimate news outlets who report the facts fake.

Delegitimizing of facts is part of the Trump propaganda campaign, and more members of the press need to set foot in the White House and call out the President’s fake news because that is the only way that Trump will be stopped.
