CBS Takes A Moral Stand And Fires Charlie Rose For Sexual Harassment

The allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct against Charlie Rose didn’t happen at CBS, but that didn’t stop the network from firing Rose for his “disturbing and intolerable behavior.”

Here is the statement from CBS:

CBS did the opposite of how Fox News handled the Bill O’Reilly scandal. Society in general needs to take a zero-tolerance position on sexual harassment and sexual misconduct. In the case of Rose, eight came forward with similar stories of unwanted sexual advances, touching, nudity, and fear that Rose would retaliate. The allegations against Charlie Rose were striking in their similarity to Bill O’Reilly’s behavior.

There is nothing more important than a safe and professional workplace, and an organization has no credibility if they report on criticize others for sexual harassment while knowingly employing a sexual harasser.

Charlie Rose had to go, and CBS showed that they have the morals and integrity that are non-existent at Fox News.
