Trump isn’t going to be person of the year for 2017. It isn’t even close. Unless Time chooses their person of the year based on criteria that the person accomplish nothing, and play lots of golf on the taxpayer’s dime, Trump does not have a chance.
Time never comments or leaks in advance the person of the year. Trump is lying because he feels like he should be person of the year, and he is pulling a version of the old I didn’t get fired because I quit routine.
