Trump couldn’t resist putting Matt Lauer’s firing for inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace in quotes, and then minimizing Lauer’s behavior going on a tangent about NBC and “fake news.”
Trump tweeted:
Wow, Matt Lauer was just fired from NBC for “inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.†But when will the top executives at NBC & Comcast be fired for putting out so much Fake News. Check out Andy Lack’s past!

Trump supports sexually assaulting Roy Moore for Senate in Alabama. The President also refuses to believe that the Access Hollywood tape of him admitting to sexually assaulting women is real, and claims that it is someone else’s voice on the recording.
It makes total sense that Trump would defend Matt Lauer by suggesting doubt about the reason why the former Today show host was fired. Predators of a feather stick together. Donald Trump is incapable of giving an appropriate response to this topic. Trump is part of the problem.
The President’s tweet is that of a man who is completely out of step with the direction that the country that he is supposed to be running is moving in.
NBC News doesn’t report “fake news.” The network doesn’t make up stories about Trump, but the President’s minimizing of Lauer’s behavior and suggestive defense of it is part of larger pattern of Trump encouraging and defending sexual predators that is a main reason why he is morally not fit to be president
