After refusing to say that accused pedophile Roy Moore doesn’t belong in the Senate. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is in no position to call on Al Franken to resign.
Here is McConnell’s statement on Franken:
However, McConnell can’t say whether or not an accused pedophile belongs in the US Senate:
McConnell said when asked if Moore belongs in the Senate, “I’m going to let the people of Alabama make the call. This election has been going on a long time. There’s been a lot of discussion about it. They’re going to make the decision a week from Tuesday.”
Al Franken is accused of groping women and he has to go right now, according McConnell. Roy Moore is an accused pedophile, and Mitch McConnell is going to leave it up to the voters of Alabama to decide whether or not he belongs in the Senate.
The difference is that Moore will vote for the tax cuts for the rich, and Franken is voting against them.
Just when one thinks that it is impossible for Sen. McConnell to be a bigger hypocrite, he comes up with supporting Roy Moore while calling on Al Franken to resign. Sexual harassment, sexual assault, and pedophilia should not be partisan issues, but for Mitch McConnell everything is a weapon to be used to make sure that rich people get their tax cuts.
