Steve Curtis the former chairman of the Colorado Republican Party was found guilty of one count of voter fraud and one count of forgery after he signed and submitted his ex-wife’s mail-in ballot.
According to Denver7, “Steve Curtis, the former chairman for the Colorado Republican Party, was found guilty Thursday by a Weld County jury of voter fraud and forgery. Curtis, 58, was arrested in March and accused of signing his wife’s mail-in ballot for her, which is a misdemeanor in Colorado. He was also charged with forgery of a public record, a fifth-degree felony.”
The reason why Republicans can’t find the voter fraud is that they are committing it.
Curtis got caught when his ex-wife called the county clerk to see how she could vote from her new home in South Carolina. Little did she know, that her ex-husband had already forged her signature and mailed her ballot in.
As has become the norm, whatever Republicans are accusing others of doing is exactly what they are doing themselves. Voter fraud on a mass scale, like Trump thinks cost him the popular vote does not exist. However, what Curtis did was very real, and the most recent example of how Republicans are willing to cheat to help their party win elections.
