Q: When will we see him?
Sanders: We’ll keep you posted. We’ll make sure you guys are aware when that time comes.
Trump is intentionally avoiding the press and the American people while the government is shut down. Huckabee Sanders did give a lengthy list of things Trump did to prove that the President Of The United States was actually working while the government is shutdown, but all other reports are that the White House is lying. Trump has been absent from the process and a total non-factor in the effort to get the government reopened.
The White House can’t trust the mentally and emotionally unstable president in front of reporters, so they are hiding him. Trump will reappear in a tightly controlled environment likely after the government shutdown has been resolved.
It is unacceptable for a president to not speak to the American people during a time of crisis. Trump isn’t leading. He is laying in bed and watching Fox News as the world passes him by. America needs a president, not a cable news junkie who vanishes from public view at the first sign of trouble.
