Stormy Daniels Implies She Didn’t Sign The Statement Denying Her Affair With Trump

Stephanie Clifford, the adult film actress who goes by the name Stormy Daniels, was interviewed on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night, and during her appearance she pretty much denied having written or signed the statement denying she had an affair with Donald Trump.

Clifford made headlines earlier this month after The Wall Street Journal published a report stating that Trump’s lawyer had arranged for her to be paid $130,000 to keep quiet about an affair the two had in 2006.

A BuzzFeed News reporter shared a statement apparently signed by Clifford and denying that she’d ever had an affair with Trump ahead of her appearance on Kimmel’s show. When Kimmel asked about the statement, Clifford suggested she hadn’t been the one to sign it.

In response to whether she signed the statement, she said, “Doesn’t look like my signature, does it.”

When asked if she had any idea where the statement came from, she said, “I do not.”

Adding to the confusion, Clifford’s lawyer then told BuzzFeed news that she had, in fact, signed it and that he’d seen her do it. “She was having fun on Kimmel and being her normal playful self, he said.â€

The alleged affair between Clifford and Trump would have happened just four months after Melania Trump gave birth to Barron Trump. A second porn star also claimed to have had sexual encounters with Trump in 2006.
