High school kids who are protesting for stricter gun laws have a message for Republicans they are going use this issue to decide who to vote for in November.

A high school student who is protesting in Florida was asked by MSNBC’s Katy Tur if this issue will influence his vote in November. He answered, “It will definitely be something that’s on my mind because I don’t want my future children to have to deal with the things we dealt with. As far as, you know, the fear of this is the potential of what could happen, I don’t think anyone should have to feel that feeling whenever they go to school.”

These kids are going to vote and that should terrify Republicans

Many of these protesters are high school seniors and juniors who will be turning 18 and voting for the first time in the midterm election. The thought that this is going to be a midterm election issue should terrify Republican candidates who are caught between their NRA masters and constituents who are demanding action. Republicans are already terrified that they are going to get destroyed in the midterm election, but the student anger over the mass shooting issue has taken their concern to a different level.

The high school students aren’t going away. They have made it clear that they are coming for the NRA and politicians who take NRA money, and they are not going to stop at protests. These students are also going to show up in November and vote.
