Ivanka Trump Blocks Democratic Congressman As He Asks About Trump Affair Hush Money

Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu of California wants some answers from Ivanka Trump, but the President’s daughter blocked the Democratic Assistant Whip.

Ivanka refused to answer a question about whether she believes President Trump’s sexual misconduct accusers earlier Monday, seeking refuge in her status as daughter. But since she is also a senior advisor to the President of the United States, it’s her job to answer these questions.

“Let’s reword the questions to Ivanka: -Cohen paid $130k to silence Stormy Daniels. Was there coordination with Trump campaign? -National Enquirer paid $150k to silence Karen McDougal. Was there coordination with Trump campaign? Can you forward to @IvankaTrump? She blocked me,” Lieu wrote.

“Do you believe your father’s [sexual misconduct] accusers?†Peter Alexander asked Ivanka Monday in an NBC interview.

“I think it’s a pretty inappropriate question to ask a daughter if she believes the accusers of her father when he’s affirmatively stated there’s no truth to it,” Ivanka Trump, whose personal business success has been put forward as proof that her father isn’t anti-woman, responded

Lieu wrote again to ask that people tweet the questions at Ivanka, since as he put it, she “can’t handle questions from a Member of Congress.”

Lieu wrote his questions over a tweet from Matt McDermott, reading: “Ivanka Trump works for the federal government as a senior advisor to the President of the United States. If she thinks it’s “inappropriate” to be asked these questions she should resign.â€

It is so bizarre that we live in a world where Ivanka Trump is even in the White House at all, let alone posing as the person who should be briefing South Korean President on our North Korean sanctions even though she doesn’t have a security clearance.

But now the daughter of the President is blocking Democratic Members of Congress on Twitter- her father’s preferred platform for political punditry, such as his is. This is such a crazy administration that the scandal is not that Trump paid off a porn star and a Playboy model with whom he is alleged to have had affairs while married to his current and third wife, but rather that they refuse to take any questions and actually block Members of Congress when they work for the federal government.

This is not a surprise coming from the woman who hung up on a reporter during an interview with Cosmo when asked about her father’s paternity leave plan, citing the “negativity” in the questions, saying it wasn’t “useful” to speak to the interviewer anymore if they were going to be like that.

Apparently Democratic Congresspeople are also not “useful.” Noted.
