Transcript of the exchange between Nunberg and NBC’s Katy Tur:
Tur: You sat there in that room being questioned by Mueller’s investigators. I want to hear directly from you. Do you think that they have something on the president?
Nunberg: I think they may.
Tur: What?
Nunberg: I think he may have done something during the election. But I don’t know that for sure.
Tur: Why do you think that?
Nunberg: I can’t explain it unless you were in there.
The White House responded by trashing Nunberg to CNN:

Kaitlyn Collins of CNN reported, “They were watching it just like we were when he went on several different networks and conducting the lengthy e-mails, complaining for such a long time but he was on TV for several hours. People in the West Wing told me they’re watching, and it calling it bizarre and nuts and went on and on, talking about people in the white house, people close to the president. I think he said several newsworthy things. One of those being there’s no way the president didn’t know about that meeting at trump tower. Of course, Sam Nunberg was fired from the white house long before that so he couldn’t have had first-hand knowledge.”
Both Sam Nunberg and the White House are panicking
Nunberg is having a meltdown on national television all over cable news, and the White House responded to him with total panic. For this White House, resorting to personal attacks is what they do. The White House didn’t dispute anything that Nunberg said. They focused on discrediting the witness, which strongly suggests that Nunberg knows something that could lead back to the West Wing.
Robert Mueller has got the White House fighting with the Trump campaign. It is classic divide and conqueror. The panic has arrived, and now it is a matter who is going to flip first and turn on Trump to save their own skin.
