Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg told Trump to forget destroying the economy with a tariff, but to place a tax on gun purchases.
Hey @realDonaldTrump how about instead of destroying our economy through tariffs on steel and aluminum you place a tax on firearm sales that is used to harden schools, create new manufacturing jobs and save lives? #guntax

David Hogg has a very bright future. A tax on gun sales to increase school safety would save lives, and make guns just a little bit more difficult to obtain. The Stoneman Douglas kids aren’t giving up. They are going to use every move that Trump makes to call for tougher gun laws. The students achieved a victory in Florida by getting the NRA controlled legislators in Florida to pass any degree of gun legislation that the organization did not agree with.
The mass shooting issue is not going away. The topic of gun violence may fade from the front of television news, but it is always still here. The tariff is a terrible idea, as demonstrated by the fact that Trump was outsmarted by a 17-year-old high school student.
