Ari Melber Explains How Michael Cohen Just Screwed Trump In The Stormy Daniels Scandal

MSNBC’s Ari Melber explained how the Stormy Daniels case against Trump was boosted by the fact Trump lawyer Michael Cohen used Trump Organization email to arrange the money transfer to Stormy Daniels.

Ari Melber said on MSNBC’s Andrea Mitchell Reports, “The legal implication, and this is a very interesting report here from our colleagues at NBC News, is that this documentation further goes towards the argument, the belief, that Donald Trump’s lawyer was acting in his official capacity working for Donald Trump and the Trump Organization. This is the e-mail you see on the screen obtained by NBC news, and if you buy that argument, that’s bad news for Michael Cohen and Donald Trump, who both have been effectively putting out the argument that this was some sort of rogue operation that didn’t involve Donald Trump.”

The cover story has been that Trump was not involved in the Stormy Daniels payment. Michael Cohen is selling the story that he acted on his own, and Trump had no knowledge of or nothing to do with the payment, but if that is the case, Cohen should not have been using Trump Organization email. The use of Trump official email is proof that Cohen was acting in his official capacity as Trump’s lawyer.

The Trump denial is falling apart, and as Ari Melber suggested, this email boosts the case of Daniels and reveals that Trump’s inept attorney has screwed him over.
