Pamela Brown of CNN reported that Donald Trump is desperately-quizzing his friends for advice on how to handle the Stormy Daniels affair (pun 100% intended).
Her source (whom one can only hope goes by “Deep Throat”) attests that Trump’s being told not to fight her attempts to get out of the non-disclosure agreement (NDA) because it would make him look guilty.
As if looking guilty was something that troubled the 45th President of the United States. Being guilty doesn’t even faze him.
Of course Stormy Daniels’ latest offer to skirt that NDA was to return the $130,000 Trump (or, for the reality-challenged, Michael Cohen) paid her to keep quiet… which leads to two fascinating, devastating options for Team Trump:

- Accept the offer, admit that there was an affair (and a subsequent NDA to conceal said affair), and take shelter from the storm.
- Reject the offer, stick to the half-baked denials and sit back while the truth come out anyway.
Either way, Trump is bigly-hosed… and for good measure, so’s his personal lawyer.
I haven’t watched “60 Minutes” since Andy Rooney was complaining about those little plastic bits on the ends of shoe laces, but next week’s episode is shaping up to be must-see TV.
