John Oliver stuck a blow against Vice President Mike Pence’s anti-gay extremism by turning his pet rabbit Marlon Bundo gay in a new kids book.
Oliver ran down Pence’s long history of extremism and hatred toward the LGBT community, but it all took a turn when the topic moved to Pence’s pet rabbit Marlon Bundo.

The children’s book is brilliantly subversive idea to strike a blow against the homophobia and discrimination that is occupying the vice presidency of this country, and buying the book will not only stick a thumb in the eye of Pence, and his anti-gay cult, it will also do a lot of good for some great causes.

The term resistance gets used a lot under Trump, but what we are seeing is a movement that has grown beyond resistance and into the sort of collective action that people like Barack Obama dreamed of. America isn’t dead under Trump. It is showing who it really is one Marlon Bundo book at a time.
