Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, dropped a bomb on Monday, claiming that he has evidence that Donald Trump was “fully aware” of the threats made against the adult film star in order to keep her quiet.
In an interview with MSNBC’s Ari Melber, Avenatti’s one-word response – spoken without hesitation – likely sent chills through the halls of the White House.

Melber cited court documents alleging that Trump was “fully aware” of the tactics used by his people to silence those – like Stormy Daniels – who threaten to expose the president.
When the MSNBC host asked Avenatti if he had evidence to support this claim, he responded confidently and simply: “Yes.”
Avenatti’s claim comes after he revealed that his client was “physically threatened” to keep quiet
This allegation by Stormy Daniels’ attorney is particularly serious and potentially damaging to Trump given the fact that, just last week, Avenatti said that the adult film star was “physically threatened to stay silent.”
“My client was physically threatened to stay silent about what she knew about Donald Trump,” he said on CNN, saying the adult film star will share her complete story in an upcoming “60 Minutes” interview.
It was always troubling that Trump’s legal team, particularly Michael Cohen, was physically threatening and paying off somebody that could have cost him the election in 2016. But if the president was “fully aware” of these tactics – including physical threats – and did nothing to stop them, he’s in more trouble than we thought.
When Michael Avenatti told Trump over the weekend that he would be his worst nightmare, he clearly wasn’t bluffing.
