Rachel Maddow Just Asked 3 Critical Questions That Nailed Trump On Russia

Maddow asked critical questions about what is driving Trump’s behavior as he is defying his national security team’s advice on Russia.

Video:

Maddow said, “So the president’s aides say if you call the person who we as a U.S. Government have said is responsible for the attack, you have to bring up that attack. Why would the president disregard that kind of advice? Why would the president blow off and thereby sort of legitimize a nerve agent attack that the U.S. Government said was committed by Russia? Why would he neglect to mention that? Why would he forget to condemn that? Why would the president ignore the all capital letters warning do not congratulate. when he never the less congratulates Putin, what is driving his behavior that is so different than what his national security staff believe is the right thing for the country? What explains the distance between when the president is doing and his own national security staff say the president of the United States needs to do?”

Maddow asked the critical questions. What is driving Trump’s behavior? We know that Trump doesn’t read written briefings, so it is likely that he ignored what his staff had written for him. The question remains why does Trump ignore everything bad that Russia does? Why does Trump refuse to criticize Putin? Why does he treat an upcoming visit with Putin like he is seeing a long-lost BFF?

To understand what happened between Trump and Russia, it is important to know the dynamics of Trump/Russia relationship. Maddow’s questions go to the heart of the great unknown of why Trump is doing what he is doing.

Rachel Maddow is asking the vital questions, which is why she is leading the cable news ratings, as the American people want to know how a president who many feel is illegitimate, made it to the White House.
