Trump To Blow A Gasket As Sessions Refuses To Give GOP A Second Special Counsel

Trump’s allies in the House have been trying to make the Mueller investigation go away by demanding a second special counsel to investigate the FBI and FISA warrants, but Attorney General Jeff Sessions just turned down their request.

NBC News reported:

Republicans wanted a second special counsel to negate Mueller

Republicans never wanted a second special counsel because there is something to the dynamics of the Russia investigation that needed a deeper look. Republicans were looking for their own hired gun that they could use to delegitimize and negate the Mueller investigation. Their calls for a special counsel were based on nothing more than desperation and partisan politics. Republicans wanted a second special counsel, because Mueller is doing a good job, and is getting closer to Trump.

Many Republicans are worried about what Robert Mueller is going to find out about Trump, so they wanted someone to attack the FBO for them to discredit the investigations.

Trump has been leading the attacks against the FBI, and it is a certainty that he will blow a gasket over the decision by the attorney general. Trump has been raging at Sessions for a year because he thinks that the AG should have shut down the Russia investigation and not recused himself, and with this decision, Jeff Sessions has given Trump a brand new reason to fire him.

America doesn’t need a second special counsel. They need Trump to leave Mueller alone so that he can do his job.
