Laura Ingraham Boycott

Laura Ingraham Boycott Surges As At Least 9 Advertisers Drop Her Show

The list of advertisers who have dropped Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show is up to at least nine, as Parkland survivor David Hogg emphatically stated that he is not going to be silenced by bullies as children fight for their lives.

Here are the nine companies who have pulled their ads from Ingraham:

Hogg told NBC News, “I don’t accept her apology and I don’t think it was sincere. It’s just disappointing to see that it took a third of her advertisers that I listed to pull out before she would actually apologize in an effort to like save her the ad money for her show.”

The Laura Ingraham boycott is part of the fight to change the tone of the gun conversation

What the NRA, Laura Ingraham, Fox News, the Trump administration, and the Republican Party are missing is that the Parkland survivors and the movement they are building is trying to change the tone of the conversation on guns. Personal attacks on children who are fighting for safer schools aren’t going to go without challenging any longer. There will be no more bullying people into silence.

These young men and women are not going to be quiet. They don’t fear the NRA, Fox News, and Laura Ingraham.

For too long, change has been halted by fear. People were pushed into silence, shamed, or forced to accept mass shootings as the status quo, but mass shootings don’t have to happen. They are natural disasters or acts of God. The carnage can be decreased.

The Laura Ingraham boycott is growing

It has been less than two days, and Laura Ingraham has seen many of her top 12 advertisers vanish. Insincere apologies aren’t going to save her job. If the advertisers leave and don’t come back, Fox News will eventually get tired of losing money at 10 PM and take Ingraham off of the air. With each day that this boycott grows, the odds of Ingraham keeping her Fox News show decline. She was already losing to MSNBC’s Lawrence O’Donnell in the ratings, so it feels like just a matter of time before Fox News cuts their losses and moves on.

The NRA and Fox News are meeting a popular force with a steel will and iron strength that won’t stop
