Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Mocks Trump On Twitter

While senior White House adviser Kellyanne Conway continues to defend everything Trump says and does, her husband, George Conway, is busy trolling the president on Twitter.

On Tuesday morning, he first retweeted the image of an old Washington Post headline reading “Nixon Sees ‘Witch-Hunt,’ Insiders Say,” a clear shot at Trump’s continuing insistence that the Russia investigation is a “witch hunt.”

Conway then quoted a tweet by Trump complaining about attorney-client privilege being “dead” — the house of his personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, was raided by the FBI on Monday — and added a link to the Justice Department’s page on obtaining evidence for investigations and explaining cases in which attorney-client privilege is null.

Both Conways took shots at Trump during the 2016 election, though Kellyanne made a complete 180 after becoming his campaign manager. Her husband has remained critical however, even after being hired at the Justice Department’s Civil Division as Assistant Attorney General.

This isn’t the first time George Conway has trolled Trump on Twitter. As recently as late March, he posted numerous tweets going after the president, though he subsequently deleted some of them.
