Trump Is Being Brought Down By Playboy Models As New Cohen Hush Money Payment Surfaces

Trump has been hit with another hush money allegation as it is being reported that Michael Cohen paid $1.6 million to silence a Playboy model who was impregnated by a Trump fundraiser.

The Wall Street Journal reported, “President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer negotiated a deal in late 2017 to pay $1.6 million to a former Playboy model who said she was impregnated by a top Republican fundraiser, according to people familiar with the matter. Michael Cohen, whose office, home and hotel room were raided by federal agents this week, arranged the payments to the woman on behalf of Elliott Broidy, a deputy finance chairman of the Republican National Committee with ties to Mr. Trump, the people familiar with the matter said. Mr. Broidy, a Los Angeles-based venture capitalist, works on the Republican committee with Mr. Cohen, who is also a national deputy finance chairman.”

Michael Cohen is believed to have only one client, and that is Donald Trump, so it raises the question, why is Cohen negotiating hush money deals for Trump’s friends? It is likely that this is what the FBI and federal investigators would like to know.

It isn’t illegal to negotiate a settlement, but trying to covering up the source of the money or obtaining the cash through fraudulent means are both crimes. There is a web of shady legal agreements and money that runs through the world of Donald Trump. While the Russia investigation chugs along toward what seems like an inevitable obstruction of justice conclusion, it is the payouts to adult film actresses and Playboy models that are shining the brightest public light on the ugly secrets of Trump world.
