You know Donald Trump is feeling pretty threatened right now. Not only does he have Robert Mueller and Stormy Daniels to worry about, but James Comey’s book comes out on Tuesday.
Trump and the Republican National Committee are doing their best to discredit the former FBI Director, and this morning’s attacks by the president on Twitter are just his latest efforts to do this.
But as usual whenever Trump takes to Twitter he is more likely to communicate that he is losing touch with reality than he is to communicate anything meaningful about Comey or anything else.

Still mad about the FBI raid on his lawyer Michael Cohen’s office, and also showing his ignorance about the scope of the attorney-client privilege.

Trump is calling Comey a liar and trying to undercut the veracity of Comey’s contemporaneous memos of his conversations with the president.

After harsh criticism he’s now defending his use of the George W. Bush phrase ‘Mission Accomplished.’
“The Syrian raid was so perfectly carried out, with such precision, that the only way the Fake News Media could demean was by my use of the term “Mission Accomplished.” I knew they would seize on this but felt it is such a great Military term, it should be brought back. Use often!”

Trump is still obsessed with the Clintons, including Wild Bill.

He’s also threatening Comey with jailtime for releasing classified information, which is both crazy and wrong.

This is the earlier ‘Mission Accomplished’ tweet which was a totally ridiculous thing so say about Syria after one bombing raid. The situation there has not changed at all, and nothing has been accomplished.

Here is another earlier tweet about McCabe, calling him and Comey “thieves and lowlifes.” He’s got his facts all wrong again too.

Comey’s book hasn’t even been released yet and already it is driving Trump crazy. He may really go off the rails as Comey continues his media blitz in the coming weeks. If he decides to start bombing other countries, Heaven help us. Let’s hope he just keeps venting his anger through Twitter and not by attacking Iran or North Korea.
