Here is Proof That Trump Has Thrown Michael Cohen To the Curb

Michael Cohen has for the past decade been Donald Trump‘s most loyal fixer and ally, and maybe sometimes even his attorney.  Cohen said he would be willing to take a bullet for The Donald, and his loyalty apparently knows no bounds.

Therefore it should come as no surprise that Trump appears to be now distancing himself from Cohen and acting like he hardly knows the guy.  In Trumpworld, loyalty is a one-way street, as has been proven many times before.

This weekend an important news item appeared in the press which proves beyond a doubt that Cohen is no longer in Trumpworld, but has been thrown to the curb.  This article appeared in Trump’s favorite and most supportive periodical:  The National Enquirer.

No other newspaper or magazine has done as much as the Enquirer for Trump.  They’ve gone so far as to actually pay for stories that were damaging to Trump, and then burying them to avoid bad publicity for the president.  (Example:  the Karen McDougal case.)

But now they have done something that would have been unthinkable just a few months ago: they published a derogatory cover story about Michael Cohen.

And all over social media there are expressions of shock that this would happen.

From Jack Shafer: “Michael Cohen makes the National Enquirer”

From DuneMyThang: “Trump enroll David Pecker at National Enquirer to do his dirty work, again? Close trump ally trashes And I think we all know he didn’t do it without mob boss trump’s approval trump would throw under the bus to save himself — he’s gross.”

It’s been known for a long time that Enquirer owner David Pecker is a close friend and huge supporter of Trump, and as this tweet points out, he could now be doing Trump’s “dirty work.”  He probably got approval from Trump before publishing the article about Cohen.

Maybe the most interesting tweet is this one that suggests to Cohen that perhaps it is time for him to “flip” and start cooperating with the Mueller and FBI probes.

Of course we don’t know for sure what it means, but when you are the subject of a nasty National Enquirer headline and cover story it can’t be a good sign.

It looks like Michael Cohen has been unceremoniously thrown to the curb and under the bus.  He is no longer in Trump’s inner circle.

The only questions that remain are how many indictments are being prepared against Cohen and how long will it take for him to turn state’s evidence.  Whenever it happens, there’s no doubt that there will be an interesting story about it in the National Enquirer.
