The New York Yankees wished Rudy Giuliani a Happy Birthday while he was in attendance, and the crowd responded by booing him out of the stadium.

There was no mixed reaction in that crowd. There were no cheers. It was a flat out jeerfest. The man who once labeled himself “America’s Mayor” after 9/11 now can’t go to a baseball game and have his name mentioned without being booed by Yankees fans like he was a Red Sox. Republican strategist Rick Wilson is fond of saying that everything Trump touches dies, and Giuliani is living proof that anyone or anything that touches Trump is forever damaged and destroyed.
Everything that enters Trump’s orbit ends up dirty.
Happy Birthday Rudy Giuliani. The city that twice elected you mayor now hates your guts.
