Nicolle Wallace Just Dropped The Hammer On Trump’s GOP Enablers

Nicolle Wallace said what needed to be said on MSNBC’s Deadline: White House when she told Trump’s Republican enablers that something is definitely going to happen and that they are going to get someone killed.

Wallace said, “I know he doesn’t care. Here are the things I know, here are the things I’m tired of hearing on this show. His base is unshakeable. The president is comfortable obliterating norms and nothing is going to happen. Something is going to happen, somebody is going to get hurt and where is the outcry for the enablers? There are real people standing by. The Justice Department just greenlit a third briefing of classified information about a Republican informant, none of us should know his name but we all do because the president wants to know what he knew about the counterintelligence investigation into his campaign. And I guess my question is when do people stand up and say, you were tainted by — your silence is going to get someone killed.”

Nicolle Wallace was one hundred percent correct. The Trump enablers who indulge his conspiracy theories. The people who stand by and do nothing while laws are broken and democratic norms are shattered. Those people are going to have blood on their hands because informants or undercover agents killed.

When Trump ran for president, Mitch McConnell and Paul Ryan assured the country that they would be there to keep Trump from going off of the rails, but what has happened is that both the Speaker of the House and the Senate Majority Leader have put party (tax cuts for the rich) ahead of the country. They have both been too weak to stand up to Trump.

The enablers are the people who are just as guilty as this president for what is happening to the country, and the only way to right the wrongs and protect our nation is to elect a Democratic Congress in November. Republicans enable Trump. Democrats will stop him.
