Protesters crashed DHS Secretary Kirstjen Neilson’s dinner to let her know how they feel about Trump separating children from their families at the border and drove her out of the restaurant.

The protest was organized by Metro D.C. Democratic Socialists of America, and they chanted shame and if kids don’t eat in peace, you don’t eat in peace. They also told the DHS Secretary that no human being is illegal.

The protest organizers said:
"While Secretary Nielsen’s dinner may have been ruined, it is nothing compared to the horrors she has inflicted on innocent families.”

No Republican who supports this policy should be able to go out in public without facing protests. The Trump administration may be temporarily occupying the federal government, but there are millions of Americans who not let the Trump administration be comfortable anywhwere as long as they continue to rip children away from their families and keep them in cages. Trump was ambushed on Capitol Hill and the message being sent is that no one in his administration is going to escape this horror story unscathed.
