Trump also claimed that it would be followed up by a “legislative fix.”
It is unclear what Trump is talking about, but it is likely that he is going to sign the DHS order, but who really knows. The legislative fix could be the House Republican immigration bill that is dead on arrival.
Trump looks to be caving on breaking up parents, but he has traumatized children, and the administration has no plan to reunite these children with their parents, so stopping the policy of kidnapping children doesn’t fix the bigger issue of how thousands of kids who were already taken are going to be reunited with their parents.
Donald Trump created this mess, and he has absolutely no plan to fix it.
