Trump Humiliated As First Lady Sides With LeBron, Says She’s Open To Visiting Ohio School

The president is likely fuming on Saturday after First Lady Melania Trump voiced her support for LeBron James less than a day after her husband blasted him in a tweet.

In a statement obtained by The Hill, Mrs. Trump said, “It looks like LeBron James is working to do good things on behalf of our next generation and just as she always has, the First Lady encourages everyone to have an open dialogue about issues facing children today.”

To jab the knife just a little bit deeper into her husband’s back, the First Lady said she would even be “open to visiting” the NBA superstar’s tuition-free school for at-risk kids in Akron, Ohio.

As I wrote earlier, James’ new “I Promise” school provides free tuition, free uniforms, a free bike and helmet, free transportation within two miles, free lunch, breakfast and snacks, a food pantry for families, GED and job placement services for parents, and guaranteed tuition to the University of Akron for every student who graduates.

Trump is unable to see outside of himself

Once again, Trump is proving that he is unable to see outside of himself. Since LeBron James spoke out against his divisive rhetoric, Trump refuses to acknowledge the work the NBA star is doing to better his own community.

If Trump had any sense, he wouldn’t be waging a war of words against LeBron James. He would instead be seeking ideas about how to implement the NBA star’s education model on a national scale.

The fact that the First Lady is also vocalizing her support of a man her husband is currently feuding with speaks volumes about how petty Trump is. Not even she can stand by his childish conduct.

Once in a while, Melania Trump makes it obvious that there is a disconnect between her and the president. Saturday was the latest example.
