Failing Trump Flips Out And Tantrums That He’s Already Made America Great Again

Even though he has accomplished nothing but pass a tax cut bill for the wealthy, Trump lost it over criticism from NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo and claimed that he has already made America great again.

Trump tweeted:

Cuomo argued in a speech on Wednesday night that America won’t be great until the country reaches full gender equality, “We’re not going to make America great again. It was never that great. We have not reached greatness. We will reach greatness when every American is fully engaged. We will reach greatness when discrimination and stereotyping of women, 51% of our population, is gone, and every woman’s full potential is realized and unleashed, and every woman is making her full contribution.”

Context and facts don’t exist in the realm of Trump. All he heard was that America isn’t great, and that set off the latest tantrum from the Oval Office.

Cuomo is right. If you are anyone but a rich white man like Donald Trump, America has never really been that great for you. If you are an African-American whose ancestors were enslaved and brought to this country against their will, America hasn’t always been so great. If you are a woman, and you face economic, and gender inequality as that is built into a country that has disempowered you for most of its history, America hasn’t been so great.

Trump thinks that as long as white men like himself are at the top, America’s greatness has been restored because, for Donald Trump, American greatness isn’t defined by equality and opportunity for all. In Trump’s mind, American greatness equals white men desperately trying to hold back the demographic tide that is changing the face of America more each day.
