Don Jr. Proves He Is Ignorant and Clueless About the Law

Last updated on September 13th, 2018 at 10:56 am

Whenever we write about Donald Trump Jr. we discuss one of two things;

  1. His chances of going to jail for his many crimes, or
  2. His lies that he continually tells in interviews and on social media.

This morning he appeared on television on Good Morning America and used the opportunity to do something else: share his ridiculous and uninformed opinions about important news topics of the day.

He told Tara Palmieri of ABC News that in his opinion the anonymous “senior White House official” who wrote the infamous New York Times editorial about the Trump White house has committed a crime that should be investigated and prosecuted by the United States Department of Justice.

When Palmieri asked “What is the crime?” Junior said:

“I think you’re subverting the will of the people. To try to control the presidency while not the president you have millions who voted for this.”

When you consider that Donald Trump was the popular vote loser it is indeed ironic that his son thinks that OTHER people are subverting the will of the people, when it is in fact his father who does that every day.

Palmieri also asked the president’s oldest son if his father was becoming more isolated in light of the leaks and disclosures from the White House.

“I think there are people in there he can trust,” Don Jr. said. But, he conceded, “It’s a much smaller group.”

The ABC News correspondent also asked Junior if he had any concerns about his legal status or if he was afraid that the criminal probes could result in him being found guilty of crimes and serving time in jail. He responded by saying:

“I’m not because I know what I did and I’m not worried about any of that. That doesn’t mean they won’t try to create something but, again, I’m not.”

From this interview it is clear that Donald Trump, Jr. did not go to law school. For one thing, he doesn’t know the legal definition of a “crime” that can be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies. And for another, it is clear that he is oblivious to the truth, which is that he could easily be indicted, prosecuted, and convicted of numerous crimes that he has clearly committed.

Nobody ever accused Donald Trump, Jr. of being the sharpest tack in the box, and this interview proves that he would be better off staying in his room and playing video games rather than going on TV and making a fool of himself.
