Insane Trump Predicts GOP Victories Due to His Health and Management Style

Despite the lowest presidential approval ratings in history just before a midterm election President Donald Trump insanely is predicting massive Republican victories in November. And the reason for this, he says, is that “people like the job I’m doing.”

Trump’s remarks came during an interview with Hill.TV and proved once again that he is more out of touch with reality than any president in U.S. history.

While the president is saying how confident he is that GOP candidates will win on November 6th, every other political analyst and opinion poll predicts that will NOT happen.

“I think we’re going to do much better than anyone thinks because the economy is so good, and people do like the job I’m doing,” the president said. “We probably have the greatest economy in history,” he added.

Of course many people have shown the president many different kinds of economic statistics that prove the current U.S. economy is not the greatest in history. There is no measure that can be used to demonstrate that what Trump says is true. In fact the only thing today that is the “greatest” is the size of the U.S. deficit which has been growing exponentially since Trump took office.

Still, the president told Hill.TV that the economy would be a driving factor for Republican candidates and there would not be widespread Democratic victories in the midterms.

And then, in another laughable claim, Trump said that Republicans would do better than expected in November because of his personal health and management style. And he’s still bragging about the scores he supposedly received on his physical exam.

“You know, I took that test when I got my last physical, and the doctor said that’s one of the highest scores we’ve ever seen,” Trump said. “I did that not because I wanted but I did it, I was always good at testing.”

Trump apparently thinks concerned voters will choose Republicans in the upcoming elections because he is “good at testing.” But that’s not all, of course. It’s also because of his “stability.”

“But if there’s anything great about me it’s stability, and I’m a good manager. Always been a good manager, but you know, I have a vision,” Trump said.

At that point in the interview Trump started reminiscing about his improbable victory over a large Republican presidential primary field in 2016 that featured 17 candidates. But then he felt the need to point out that the number was actually larger than that. He was unhappy that when talking about the 2016 GOP primaries people usually forget to count former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore as a Republican candidate, which would make the total number of 2016 GOP candidates 18 instead of 17.

“It was actually 18, including Gilmore, just so you know. People say 17 but it was actually 18, you know he was the Governor of Virginia, so it was 18,” the president said.

What wasn’t clear from the interview was why the President of the United States think anybody cares at this point whether there were 17 or 18 Republican candidates for president in 2016.

Still basking in his great 2016 victories, Trump said that the many conflicting strategies of his opponents made it harder to defeat him.

“They’ve tried so many narratives with me,” the president said.

“The narrative, the different narratives, they’ve tried all different narratives. They’ve tried that, they tried, ‘he’s a dictator, he’s a fascist. One of them did, one of them did, ‘he’s losing it,’ and the next week they went into, ‘He’s the most brilliant mind. He’s taking over the country. He’s a fascist, he’s a dictator, and he’s gonna make the 8 years into life.’ OK.”

“Last week, I was incompetent and now, I’m, you know, taking over the world. OK? It’s incredible. It’s sick,” Trump said.

One thing that’s clear from this interview is that Donald Trump is not well. Instead of talking about the problems of the country, he just wanted to live in the past and talk about his 2016 victories and how great he is.

He clearly has continuing delusions that everybody loves him and because of that he will help carry Republicans to victory in November.  Of course if Republicans lose it will be all their fault, not his. 

Donald Trump is living in the past because he knows his future is grim. Once Democrats win control of the House they will begin investigations and possibly impeachment hearings. No matter how deluded he is, Trump cannot change the stark reality of his current situation. He cannot change the fact that very soon he will be held accountable for his many crimes and misdeeds.
