Democrat Stacey Abrams is getting closer to forcing a run off
Democrats got a huge ruling on Monday night when a federal judge ordered Republicans to protect and count provisional ballots, and they followed it up with a Tuesday win that while involving fewer ballots may end up being critical to every vote being counted in the state.
Georgia is mostly being ignored by the national press as they have become captivated by another recount drama in Florida, but Democrats and voting rights advocates keep going to court in Georgia and winning. Something is happening in the Peach State, and with Stacey Abrams only needing roughly 20,000 votes to force a runoff election with Republican Brian Kemp, the gubernatorial election in Georgia is far from over and decided.
