Trump’s Entire Monday Schedule Is Getting A Christmas Tree And Eating Lunch

Trump entire public schedule for Monday involves meeting the White House Christmas tree and then having lunch with Mike Pence.

This is Trump public schedule for Monday as provided to PoliticusUSA by the White House:

That is what Donald Trump is doing with one entire day of his presidency. He is meeting a Christmas tree then eating lunch with Mike Pence. Trump has been checked out since the midterm election. He didn’t visit the memorial in France over Veterans Day weekend because he is reported to be bitter and resentful over the midterm election.

Trump is doing the impossible. He is managing to do even less of the job of being president than he did before the midterm election.

The president is spending most of his time on Twitter trying to attack Adam Schiff and Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

A president’s time in office is relatively brief. Almost all presidents lament that they wish they could have done more. Some presidents like Bill Clinton would have stayed in office longer if they were constitutionally allowed. Donald Trump has set the bar amazingly low for how little a president can do in a day.

Soon, Trump’s public schedule will be an empty email that will be sent to the press each day.

Trump isn’t even trying to pretend that he is interested in doing the job of being president.
